Carl Young is a talented, enthusiastic martial artist that has a flamboyant style all his own. Children love him and parents enjoy watching him work with their children. Carl has worked with my son for 2 1/2 yrs and taught my son skills for protecting himself that he will take with him the rest of his life. Oh yeah, and he's hilarious (had to get that in there). Well wishes to you, Carl, and BTB!

Our family was lucky to meet Sensei Carl about a year and a half ago. In that time he has made an enormous difference in our son. At the time we were looking for something he could enjoy doing but that would bring him more discipline and focus. Within a month we could see positive changes in behavior and a huge leap in confidence.

Carl is not only an excellent instructor, he truly loves the kids he teaches. He is as quick to share their joy in a success as he is to show them the discipline they need. He has always made himself available to talk about Ryan, his challenges, his accomplishments and new strategies that could help him turn those challenges INTO accomplishments. He leads by example and teaches that with hard work, respect for yourself and others, and a positive attitude you can do anything.

In the time that we have known him, Carl has become much more than Ryan’s instructor. He has become a good friend and a part of our family.
